Planning & Strategy
From the start, the Meehan team collaborates with all of the internal stakeholders in Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Technology, and the Business Units to prepare, communicate and execute projects with minimal disruption. Working together to define the scope, we produce the schedule and budget, conduct space and occupancy surveys, and develop occupancy strategy.
Change Management
We recognize that move management isn’t simply about shifting items from one place to another; it’s about providing services that shape each employee’s experience and provide for a seamless transition. To this end, Meehan staff develop communication tools to consistently convey an informed and positive message. We create project websites, newsletters, posters, and welcome materials; coordinate project meetings as well as Town Halls and other presentations; and drive cleanup/archive campaigns.
Vendor Selection & Supervision
Leveraging our market knowledge and extensive vendor network, the Meehan team guarantees that clients get the services they need at the best possible price. We manage vendor selection through a competitive bidding process in accordance with client policies and procedures. When awarded, Meehan project managers define all vendor activity and provide on-site supervision, direction, and coordination. We then audit the invoices for transparency and accuracy.
Move Management
From pre-move planning through post-move support, the Meehan Group has every base covered. We work with building services to coordinate all logistics, taking into account specific site requirements and potential hurdles. We ensure advance delivery of move supplies, and then tag all equipment and other items ourselves. Once the move is under way, Meehan staff are on-site to keep every aspect of the project on track. Our work continues through post-move, when we assist with issues and help occupants settle into their new space.
Liquidation & Decommissioning
The Meehan Group employs the same comprehensive process we use for relocations to manage liquidation and decommissioning projects, including furniture and technology removal, donation and/or repurposing. Our experienced team creates an inventory, guides the selection of a qualified liquidation vendor, and is on-site to oversee the actual knock-down and removal work. We understand the criticality of client lease obligations and construction deadlines, and always strive to complete projects on time and on budget.
Furniture & Facilities Management
Whether converting workstations into a bullpen, or swapping an office and a huddle room, the Meehan Group manages every aspect of furniture reconfiguration projects. We manage warehouse inventory, source and specify parts, procure ergonomic solutions, and coordinate all aspects of furniture reuse and installation. Our resourceful teams propose options to reduce costs and enable client staff to work more efficiently.
From a facilities management standpoint, our teams receive work orders for building services and coordinate all aspects of the request with appropriate third party suppliers. We track all requests and generate detailed analytical reports to improve performance and forecast/budget effectively.
